What is Home Automation?
Home Automation is defined as the application of automation techniques for comfort and security. Basically, home automation is the integration of all "sub-systems" in your home under the control of one main system; HVAC, security, and consumer electronics. For example:
- Automating the lighting throughout your home to turn on and off with a predetermined schedule set by you.
- Remotely opening and closing gates, doors, etc.
- One-touch operation of all electronics in your home theater, lighting and air conditioning to set the mood for a movie.
- Remotely programming and controlling security, HVAC (air conditioning, heating), lighting, etc.
- Integrating whole house audio and video into one system.
- Monitoring the temperature in the pool from your television.
What is Structured Wiring?
Structured Wiring is the process of pulling all low voltage wiring back to one central location. The benefits of structured wiring are numerous.
I don't have the budget for a dedicated home theater. Do you sell products to match my budget?
Most definitely. We sell a complete line of home electronics to match any budget. You will get all the attention, design and expertise we offer to all our clients.
Does LCS work with builders, architects or designers to build my system?
Yes. If you are building a new home or even remodeling, contact us ASAP. We will work with everyone involved in the project to make sure you are within budget, your components match your decor, and your dedicated rooms are built to perform as well as the equipment you have installed.
I have some equipment already. Can you use it in my system?
Maybe. Not all consumer electronics are manufactured to the same standards. LCS only sells components we know are controllable and have a solid history of performance. Your equipment may or may not meet these standards and therefore each component will need thorough study to determine if it is compatible with your new system.
I don't like to see equipment. Can you hide everything, including the speakers?
Yes. We sell universal remote controls with wireless technology allowing us to put all of your equipment in a closet. Likewise, we sell aesthetically pleasing speakers that can be installed in the walls and ceiling. In addition, we can install front projection screens with all the speakers hidden behind the screen, just like in the movie theaters.
Does Landmark install systems in commercial buildings?
Yes. We sell and install audio, video and lighting systems in churches, auditoriums, restaurants and more. Check our portfolio to see examples of our work in some local churches and restaurants.
